Alrighty, so, if you are looking for php tutorials to make sites like I am, flash tutorials to become a pro, movie quality special effects using after effects (an many, MANY other types of tutorials) or if you are wanting to help people out, please read the following information!

Estimated release date of the tutorial site is the 11th of August… this year.

I will be, finally, releasing video and text tutorials that you can easily follow, each tutorial will have a level of Beginner to Advanced.

Just to get you all excited, here is a little info about the site, it’s going to be a blue, white and gray website, it will have both sidebars and tabs, a cool skype-like logo and BEST of all it’s going to have AJAX! Which means it will look cool and be very interactive, it will feel like you are running the site… infact, I am going to put in place a rewards system too… I think I may have already said to much, so, check back here for more updates.

Alright, now, a lot of visitors on this site may recall Aussieferal.com, a site full of games, cartoons, videos and more, well I’m pleased to announce that it should be up late late August, 25th - 30th.

BUT

I am also racing against time to get my tutorial site up within the next, say, 10 days and I only just finished the design in photoshop, still have to slice and code it.

Any recommendations or suggestions for the new entertainment site and tutorial site are welcome.

Well, for a new site, these stats are pretty awesome, unique visitors have increased over 600% scince last month, and I haven’t really told anybody about the site.

2 months old, haven’t told many people and already.. as of today - 360, but by the end of the month it will be an estimated 372.

Well, I’m posting from my n95 to my blog for the first and last time

Yep, well, I am trying to send back my N95 as the company in Australia called 3 have ripped me off I was meant to get at least about 10 features on the phone that I asked for that I didn’t get and I was told if they don’t have those features I can do some things to make it have those features which doesn’t work either, they have also haven’t stuck to their end on the cap plan so I am really annoyed about it.

Anyway, thanks Nokia, your N95 was a treat to use for how long I did but thanks to three (”It’s crap to be three” - IMO) I cannot use it anymore. Next time I am just going to buy the phone outright, I am looking at the Sony Ericsson w960i for the fact that it has ecery single feature I want and the battery life, I can only listen to an N95 for a couple of hours on full charge with music, on the sony I can for up to 27 HOURS!! Yes, twenty-seven.

Now, I know I sent my N73 back, but that was obvious, an error at sale, they could admit that, but three just won’t admit that they did too, I am actually thinking of giving Soul (My old phone network) another chance as they are 100% Aussie and they have the worlds best support - IMO.

Ok, well, I have decided it wouldn’t be fair for me to put my site as a higher priority than my client’s site so the tutorial site may be delayed by a week or two, possibly three but I am really hoping to have it done by August 7th so I gotta work extra hard which means a couple less posts for a little while.

Though, do check back because I do have some posts that are private that I might publish !

EDIT: I can’t get the swf to work with the pls file I think I might need a flash communication server and I can’t afford that at the moment so please make welcome the bug ridden windows media player to play the station for the moment!

EDIT 2: I think my shoutcast server is actually down or windows media player doesn’t support .pls files only streaming mp3’s anymore, and if you are thinking “when did windows media player allow you to stream pls files?” well I know for a fact that they did/do, a lot of people don’t know that and I know because a few months ago on AussieFeral.com I used that for the station

Well, trying to get my shoutcast station working through flash, i know there is a way if I only use MP3 files in the stream, so here is a try, just below, thanks Jeroen for the free mp3 player, when I get the new AF up I’ll make my own.

The shoutcast station will be moderated as much as possible but cannot be 24/7 so if the station is down, it could be for up to 18 hours depending when it went down and if there are bandwidth issues I might have to cut down on the days the station is used, eg. Sunday will be a day where the stream isn’t accessible.
OR! You could donate a bit to me through paypal to pay for the extra bandwidth, I can also improve the quality of the audio if I gather up enough.

Well, not to many people know the URL to my tutorial site but it has already been hacked, or so it seems, this happens quite a bit to my sites, and I am getting the feeling it is actually somebody from my host, I’m not going to say who or why I think that but it seems that way…

Just want to let you know, hackers, I have a hidden backup on my server and my two hardrives at home, so you aren’t going to get far…

The tutorial site is coming along great, though I’m working more on Mike’s site at the moment.

Expected release date for the tutorial site is: August 30th or earlier!

Alright, first off, sorry for the lack of posts pass the last seven days, more updates to come!

I am proud to announce that I am opening my tutorial site VERY soon (don’t worry Mike, this won’t delay the production of your website )

It will offer a WIDE range of tutorials from PHP to photoshop with video tutorials, written tutorials and if you, yourself make tutorials and also have your own website, you can also link to yours, (with also a copy on my site) and don’t worry, you will have authors credits and people who copy other peoples tutorials and put them on my site will be banned for a select amount of days, and believe me, it’s not hard to find a copy!

So, keep coming back here for updates and when the site is released, you can become a master at coding or graphics OR anything else on the site!

Well, we upgraded the computer, I stuck in 1GB of ram to make 1.5GB of ram instead of buying another gig, computer is running a lot faster, anyway, I will update you more later on, today I’m going to be busy and won’t be able to blog, so check back tomorrow or Sunday.
