Just really quickly, what would you prefer for my websites? To sign up and have different accounts on each website or would you prefer a single account so that all your data is carried along all my websites?

Alright, I just realised that my google talk hasn’t been opening at all past the last 2 weeks, I must have disabled it, what does this have to do with anything? Well, google talk tells me when I get a new email, so this is why it took me so long to reply to many of you.

Anyway, I logged into my email and I’ve literally had a whole page of emails asking where the heck the proxy on christheferal has gone, and here is the answer: I HAVE NO FREAKING CLUE! LOL!! This I believe is the SECOND time my proxy has just up and disappeared, I wonder why?? Really odd.. I did hear though, that the guy who coded the proxy stopped making it and took the download off the net because to many children were using it to get to naughty websites or something along those lines… Maybe he contacted my host and told them to pull it down.

I dunno, in any case, nobody has permission to mess with my account WITHOUT prior or even emailing me AFTER they have done something, this is the SECOND time this has happened.

So, I am going to try and get the proxy back up and running and in a couple days from now, I am going to move christheferal.com back to hostmonster.

I have come to the realisation that I keep giving myself to much work.

Although it is now Saturday on this long weekend, I didn’t ever get around to updating my blog and letting you know what happened on Tuesday with my invention (still creating the prototype.)

So basically, I went into the city to speak to a person that works for a company that helps people get their inventions on the market. I told them my idea, with a NDA (no disclosure agreement.) The person who I spoke told me some things about how I could go about getting it on the market.

The three main ways I am looking at doing this are…

1) I could TRY to get somebody to help fund the idea and then they get paid back in return.

2) I could sell my idea to a company and let them do all the work (I didn’t like this due to the fact that they probably won’t put as much effort into my idea)

3) I could go on a joint-venture where I work with one or more companies.

I really want to get my own company set up, I have many, many ideas and I know EXACTLY how I want them made and marketed. I do have a few other ideas “in the works,” one of which Google MIGHT be interested in funding - won’t tell you the idea of course, but if Google helps me get this one product off the ground, maybe I can get some more onto the market too..

Who knows, anyway, for the moment, we are going to talk to a patent attorney and see if we can get this first idea rolling, there are a few people/companies I have in mind that MIGHT want to work with or help fund this idea, so patents are the first step!

This would be amazing if a freaking 15-year-old could set up a company… AND out do all the others with these “revolutionary” products, it would REALLY send a shock through the spines of the other companies, who would then try to out do us and then we’ll really see the technology revolution happen.

In the mean time, while I have some free time, I am going to continue making websits and “perfecting” my ideas.

Tuesday is the day that not only do I get to miss out on a little bit of school, but I go into the city to talk about my idea to a company called INNOVIC who can give you advise on how to set up a company or even get funding for your idea!

I have been learning a lot about new coding languages and hardware for my idea and boy, it’s complicated, but no where near impossible to learn. I’m excited because I now know things I once thought that were over my head.

Anyway, I don’t want to tell you too much about my idea/what I’m learning, I want to surprise you all, IF this goes as planned.

I haven’t updated my youtube in ages - mainly due to lack of time, but I keep getting more and more subs, I reached 200 just the other day.

I will hardly be active until the 22nd as I will be working really hard to get a prototype of a top secret project I am doing and on the 21st we can find out if I can get funding etc and patents to get this idea on the market (even though it is a bad time) - we’ll be getting advice.

I thought it might be nice if I mention some of the features that will be on the new tutorial website, let me know what you think!

-Users can submit tutorials in text (with pages) at the moment, only I can upload video tutorials - more on that later.
-Live chat room so that users can get support with other, online members (can be turned off in the side bar, turned on by default)
-Forums are also going to be available with special forums for moderators and admins.
-Point system - earn points the more you use the tutorial site, can be used in the virtual shop (will be awesome)
-Tutorial Request feature, users submit, in detail, what they want to learn, another user looks at what they want to learn, applies and posts their tutorial for the user, the user that requested the tutorial, then (automatically) pays the user who wrote the tutorial X amount of points (X is decided by the user requesting it, this is why another user has to apply - they will know how much they receive before they do the tutorial)  before the tutorial is submitted, the user who requested the tutorial, gets to see the explanation of the tutorial without the code snippets so that the user can say yes, this is what I wanted, or no. (Hope that makes sense)
-CONTESTS!! Photoshop and coding contests WILL be held, start with points for prizes and if everything kicks off, maybe even Wacom tabets etc.

And much more, but what do you think about those features so far, an recommendations?

Can’t wait for the unnamed tutorial website (I’ll let you know the name of the site when it’s done) to be working!

That’s right folks, I’ve only worked on it for two days but I am already 25% done making the new tutorial website!

TutNation.com WILL still exist, but my main focus will be on this brand new website! One reason I am switching from tutnation is because somebody got tutorialnation.com. At the time I checked to see if I could register tutorialnation.com I had already bought tutnation, tutorialnation at the time didn’t have any content on it either.
They now seem to be adding content to tutorialnation so I am going to move to a new website (and boy does it look awesome) called TutorialC…. actually, I’ll tell you once I’ve finished the website!

As a side note, I do have a lot of homework coming up because school has started again (weee, I get a job next year - probably) but I’ll try to get the tutorial site done ASAP.

Moving along, you might think that I am doing too many different projects at once (techuila, tutorial site, video tutorials, youtube (starting again soon), ctf, the invention I am building) and to be honest, you are SPOT ON!
So, I have developed a new plan, this one fits in much better and will work out great.

-Tutorial website
-Get ffmpeg installed on techuila (may be upgrading to a dedicated server)

Once those two are done, that means 2 new websites are up and running

Meanwhile I do the tutorials in my spare time.

As for the invention I am building, and hopefully patenting, I can’t do much for a little while anyway, so this is not on hold, as such, but more of a no point in working more on it until we get the patents.

Anyway, shouldn’t be TOO long, and I know I’ve been saying this, but I should have had techuila up and running but dreamhost are kinda screwed at the moment and I can’t get ffmpeg working - plus the bad downtime (again) - so, probably back to hostmonster, try ffmpeg, if it works, it works, if not, dedicated server here I come.
