After Effects Tutorial #1 - Light Bulb Explosion

Author: Chris Morris  //  Category: MY Videos, tutorials

In my first tutorial, I’ll show you how to make a very cool light bulb explosion effect using After Effects, check the video response I’ll upload later tonight to see it in action with some real footage!

Sorry about it sounding a little weird, I had to merge some clips together to make this, I did this video about 5 - 7 times and it kept cutting off, I tried another program for recording and then that made After Effects crash..
Sorry, this was the best I could do, it took me over 2 1/2 hours, so be happy, I have made this tutorial for YOU!

    Good job!
Isn’t Adobe Premier CS3 and After Effects CS3 the best!?

    Thanks :)
I wish I could find another way to get High Quality videos on youtube, for some reason it only worked on one of my videos (I am refering to my tutorial on my youtube page)

    They are good

  3. MacBros Says:

Have you tried to convert the video to FLV yourself first?

  4. Chris Morris Says:

it doesn’t matter, you can’t upload flvs, when it processes the video, one of two things happen, the video only uploads 33 seconds and the audio goes at twice the speed..
or it will just say processing failed..

    I’ve had both

You may have gotten the explosion clip from detonationfilms.com, if it rings a bell.
