Sorry about the weird-ass starting…

WOW! 24 Years Ago we Though This Was GREAT!

Author: Chris Morris  //  Category: Hardware, internet/computers

That was the mac back then in 1984, WOW IT CAN TALK! LMAO! Alright, I guess back then that was a major accomplishment.

Well, there are going to be some design updates and modifications at Apples June event, here are some mock up pictures from MacRumors.com of what some users want it to look like - the macbookpro on the left and the macbook on the right.

I love the look of the one on the left, but yikes, there is like an inch of space either side of the screen being wasted.

I am going ot be making up a mockup of some of MY OWN hopes for the MBPs that are to be released/updated in design and hopefully functionality and performance this june, PLUS, a 3G iPhone may just pop up, and Australia could be the FIRST to get them, WOOT! SUCK ON THAT AMERICANS WHO GET THEIR IPHONES BEFORE US :P It actually doesn’t really bother me, I don’t want one, lol, so yeah, I guess you Americans can have it back now =P NOKIA FTW!!!

Quad-core PC! Sick AGAIN DAMN IT!

Author: Chris Morris  //  Category: Hardware, Micro$oft, My Computer

I just can’t win, I am sick AGAIN! It’s REALLY getting me down latley because I’m missing on school, I have basically speant 18 hours in bed since I got home and I am feeling REALLY sick, it’s been a great week.. well, actually, it has apart from the bug, it’s been one of those weeks were you have REALLY good things happen and REALLY bad things happen. I’m starting to feel a bit better now, so hopefully I’ll be back at school tomorrow.

On a VERY great note, this is the PC I might be getting, instead of a Mac Pro due to the fact that it’s just too expensive at the moment and I REALLY need a faster PC, at the moment, I am on a system, probably about a 1/16th of the average PC out on sale, speed, graphics and what not-wise :p

So, here we go, these are the specs:
AND NO, I AM NOT GETTING THE SCREEN OR JOYSTICK IN THE PICTURE.

BEFORE you read below, here is what I get for free:

-Epson ULTRA-HD Printer (R280 Photo Printer)
-D-Link 108MBps Wireless gaming router (no, I don’t game THAT much, but sure, this will come in handy later this year once 100MBps internet comes out!)
-D-link Pocket Router (erm.. sure, why not?)
-LapLink PC Mover (again, not exactly sure what I would use this for, but, sure, why not?)
-Maxtor OneTouch 4 mini 80GB HD
-Free t-shirt (erm.. sure, why not?)
-Free multi-purpose carrying briefcase (erm.. sure, why not?)
-Free Poker Set (OMG, what has this got to do with a computer? Meh, sure why not? :p)

(I am guessing the freebies aren’t really ALL that great, but I am looking forward to that router and that printer looks quite nice, so I am happy, I don’t really care if you leave a comment saying, these things are crap, that’s why they are free.. who cares, THEY ARE FREE!!)

Final price without rebates and discounts, around $1750, after rebates and discounts, about $1600. THAT IS PRETTY DAMN CHEAP!!!

I am a happy Vegemite (WTF do aussies say that?? Vegemite tastes horrible, much like Vista..)

Oh, by the way, I am getting Vista Ultimate 64 bit for the freebies and also because I like the eye candy, I can always use VM-ware if I like, but I actually really want to try out Vista Ultimate for the fact that on a system this fast, it mightn be THAT bad.

I am also upgrading to either 4,6 or 8GB of ram, chances are 8GB, so that works out to another $350 or so, but for the start I am going to be on 2GB.

I am also going to be getting 2 x 1TB HDs and eventually getting a second nVidia 9600 GT 1GB ram

Anyway, this system is still in the “might get” section, though chances are we probably will be getting this in about a month, depending on a lot of things, anyway..

Old Theme Edited!

Author: Chris Morris  //  Category: Guess the Crop, Uncategorized

Remember that theme I hada while back when I was on the Lab with Leo (sadly, the show has now been cancled.) Well I have brought it back because I just love the design and I love Mac. At the time fo this post you are seeing a Tiger look of mac, I am going to do some editing and make it more like Leopard - their new operating system.

Also, I have now upgraded to Wordpress 2.5, stupid hostmonster reuined my fantastico and are denying that they did, I have chat history damn it! So I had to do this manually, but hey, it wasn’t so hard.

Yay! I finally have tags!

Enjoy folks! Tell me what you think about the Leopard design, once uploaded!
